Personal Statement
Technical Demonstrator: Theatre. School of Music & Performing Arts
My main role is to provide demonstrations and technical support for the school of Music and Performing Arts and I am based in the University Theatre. I also teach Costume and Scenic Design on the BA (Hons) Theatre Production course, and I am currently in the process of completing my certificate in Professional Learning in Higher Education.
I graduated from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth in 2003 where I studied Modelmaking for Design & Media. Since then I have worked freelance for a number of prop, costume and effects companies, and have spent 3 years working full time at City of Bath College as Performing Arts Technician. I joined Bath Spa University in September 2008.
