Technical Demonstrator

My role is to provide technical demonstrations and technical support to staff and students who are using the facilities in the School of Music and Performing Arts. These include facilities installed in the University Theatre, Michael Tippett Centre Recording Studios and most other technical workspaces within the School. I am responsible for the professional operation of the Michael Tippett Studios and I am the first point of call when students require a studio booking or band rehearsal room booking. This also involves many aspects of studio maintenance in order to make the student’s experience while using the facilities as rich as possible.

I work freelance on a small scale as a live sound engineer and mix engineer in my time outside work at Bath Spa University.

I aim to provide as efficient technical support as possible to whomever I come across within the School of Music and Performing Arts.
